I have a home with high ceilings (14 ft.) & need a way to change the smoke alarm batteries. This is a big deal, since it needs to be done once each year; not to mention dealing with false alarms... Standard extension ladders are too heavy. This product fits the bill, at a reasonable cost & completely manageable weight!

The ladder is handy but a little dangerous. When you are collapsing the steps of the ladder make sure your fingers are away from the yellow collapsing levers. Smashed fingers are a real possibility.
