Over a 30 year span, I have discarded several different styles 2-step stools because they warped and/or broke. This is the best 2-step stool I have ever bought! It arrived in perfect condition the same week I ordered it with free shipping. It is very rugged. It even has a safty latch that automatically locks when the legs are extended. It won't fold up until you push the big button on back that releases the latch. The steps are wide and deep enough that I can sit on it at my art shows. It is a wonderful feeling when mail-order merchandise is even better than expected. I give it 5+ stars for quality, looks and price.

This step ladder is very sturdy, although a little heavier than most, it will remain stable as you reach for that top shelf, I have been using it all the time since I purchased it!

It's functional but not sexy- something you keep stored away in the closet. It's a little bigger than I had expected. It's not too heavy. I think another reviewer mentioned the big, difficult-to-remove sticker- mine had said sticker, but I didn't find it too hard to get off. The trick is, carefully, slowly pull off as much as you can, preserving it in preferably one piece. Little bits will be left over. Take the sticker that you have removed and use it to remove those little bits. If you dab at them with the sticker they will loosen and eventually come off. I've found that this is often the best way to remove little bits of sticker from anything.

I purchased this to replace an old Cosco chair step stool. I miss the chair aspect of it (although not used as such frequently), but frankly don't miss the additional space it took up.
This one folds up easily (but you do have to pull up on the tab which locks the steps into place), it takes up little space when folded and its very sturdy when used as a step stool.
I do have one complaint; it weighs a little more than I expected. I chalk that up to it's sturdy construction, so its ok. Oh, I lied...one more complaint. The bottom step doesn't extend out as far as the large step would lead you to believe. I have to carefully step backward or I overshoot the step a bit. I think I'm just used to my old one where the steps completely folded out. But the more I use it, the more I remember to step straight down and not out.
Overall, very happy with it. Good price and very good build.
