your tool belt that is...these units are great for latter work of all kinds from electrical to carpentry to finish trim...we have one on every ladder and a spare for the subs too as they love to "borrow our ladders when they see how cool there are. We use the hooks for all our air nailer's, drills, and even hammers and pouches sometimes...

"Wonderful tool holding system for ladders!" 2005-05-05

As a DIY carpenter, I've never been confortable on a ladder. This Ladder Lugg helps tremendously! Along with it's Bigg Lugg 2 bungee tool holding system, ladder work seems a little safer.

Recent re-modeling including kitchen, deck, and siding work had me up and down two ladders all the time. I used the Ladder Lugg on an 6ft fiberglass stepladder, then moved it to a 16ft aluminum extension ladder for the outside work. Just want to leave one on each ladder, so I'm ordering another one.

These things are strong! Even moved the 16 footer with my (new) brad nailer and hose still hanging. Just be careful of the center of gravity if you do this. No worries though. Anything to help make a job easier, is fine by me.

For over 30 years, either I or my workmen have been dropping drills, nail guns, (usually just the expensive tools) off of ladders and breaking them. Finally a group of products that work perfectly -- individually or as a set.

Here's how I'm currently using them as a set: I'm installing wood siding on a three story house. On my tool belt I have two Bigg Lugg 2's for attaching my nail gun and drill. At the top of the ladder I have two Ladder Luggs. Once I'm at the top of the ladder I transfer either the nail gun or drill (or both) to the Ladder Luggs -- using the same bungee -- and then switch the tools as I need them.

One of the things I appreciate the most about the design is that the ball on the bungee doesn't just set into the socket -- there's a bit of a catch when you push it in and pull it out. That allows me to use them by 'feel' instead of having to look every time to see if the tool is in properly. Also, if I accidentally bump one of them, I don't have to worry about them coming off of the ladder or my belt.

I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

 "Material strength" 2005-02-04

I found the Ladder Lugg easy to put on and off and it held my tools very well. The draw back I experienced was that two luggs snapped while putting them on. The design is great but I don't feel that the plastic compostion is strong enough. I did not apply a lot of force in securing the lugg to the ladder, I only snugged it up!
