Fell in love with this ladder right out of the box! It was everything the advertisement said it was. I was originally going to purchase one of the multi-purpose ladders. Upon further review & thinking about my uses for a ladder, I went with the Synergy because it met my needs. Since I have received it I've gotten the ladder out just to use it for little things; even though I could have used a simple 2 step ladder from Target or Walmart.
It is a touch on the heavy side for everyday use, however what does one expect when you have this much versatility out of a ladder. My neighbors are envious. I think I'll only charge them a $50.00 fee each time they want to use it...HA!
If you are looking for a well built product (USA design, of course made in China) this is a quality purchase that you would be satisfied with.

This ladder exceeded my expectations. Honestly, I am afraid of heights, but after 10 minutes with this ladder I found myself confident enough to climb to the highest suggested rung (6ft.). The airdeck attachment put me at ease while I made my climb. It did not shake, and neiter did I. The flared, wide legs and rubber feet are a nice touch.
It is scary how easy it is to use. I had all the movements and configurations down in 5 minutes or so. No pinched fingers, no complex movements. Just use the rock locks and turn handle and let gravity do the work of adjusting the ladder height for you.
Lastly, this ladder is super light weight. As a user with degenerative disc issues in my back this was a major consideration. Most of the Little Giant Ladders that are both A-frame and extension ladders weigh on average 35-40 pounds. As a 23 pound ladder this item puts no strain on my back or shoulders while I transport it in and around my home. The wheels are a major plus as well.
Projects completed since getting this ladder 1 week ago:
1. Changed all lightbulbs in home. (including ceiling fan lights that are 12 1/2 feet from the floor. Used air deck to steady myself. No over reach, strain, or nervousness.)
2. Constructed shelving for my garage. (used 90 degree ladder function to get right up to my wall to put this together. Airdeck was great for holding my power drill. The magnetic tray was nice as it kept me from having to reach into my pocket every time I needed to get another screw).
3. Dusted vaulted ceiling fan. Dusted above fireplace mantel. (Used regular A-frame for ceiling fan. Used 90 degree function for the fireplace area).
I can't wait to use this ladder in the spring when it comes time to pressure wash my home.
The only negative feature I found was that this ladder is not compatible with the Little Giant work platform. However, the rungs on this ladder are very deep (good for those looking for more stability as they climb).
I love it. My wife loves it. Anyone who wants a safe, easy to use, lightweight ladder for themselves and/or their family, this is a homerun.
Tip: The Little Giant Ladder Rack is a great accessory that looks sharp and properly displays this beautiful ladder.

I am a professional decorative painter . . . and a long-time user of Little Giant ladders. And while my other ladders are a bit heavy, I have never felt as stable on any other ladder but the Little Giant. I wondered if the Synergy could live up to the same standards. As it turns out, the Synergy has all the stability of its predecessors and some new features that will make it a favorite among users. The air deck makes it so easy to manage brushes and tools while up high and can be used in two positions. Its lighter weight and built-in handle make it easier to move. And when you're only 5'2", having wheels is a big plus when maneuvering a big ladder.

I bought this from Amazon and as usual, the shipping was great. The product arrived quickly and in great shape. Even the box was in good shape. Abviously, that doesn't always work out that way (I've had some boxes that I swear were used as a carpet for a football team). I've used the ladder now for about three months, for a variety of different uses, and I like it very much. It's been especially useful when I've been moving around the house, using it for number of different tasks. This ladder is adjustable enough that I can adjust it (height-wise and/or angle-wise) to fit around bushes, uneven ground, etc.). I weigh approximately 200 lbs and the ladder seems to easily support my weight, including the usual mix of misc. tools, even at the maximum height. Another reviewer complained about the welds and the appearance of the stickers. He must have had bad luck and picked up a bad one as the welds and stickers on mine look fine. I have to say that the ladder can be a little confusing and awkward to use at first (height adjustments, etc.), but after a little bit of practice you seem to easily pick on the "tricks" of using it.
Be careful at the highest height setting though, the somewhat smaller than normal footprint of the far side of the ladder does tend to make the ladder seem slightly wobbly.

I own two little giant extension ladders. They are very well made and I believe will last forever. The Synergy appears to have been made with directions from accountants (take cost out of the product). The packaging is just a box with no padding. My first one arrived damaged. The welds on my second are inferior. They look like they were made in a welding class, not by professionals. The platform is held on the ladder with plastic retainers. There is no way they will last. Even the labels are done poorly, they are full of air bubbles and not straight. I would rather pay another $25 for a well made product. I don't know what happened, but this is not "Made in America" standards.
