I purchased the Xtend & Climb 15-1/2-foot telescoping ladder about a month ago. Although the ladder is not inexpensive, I must say it is one of the best purchases of equipment I have ever made. I used it the first day to retrieve something from my roof, something requiring almost all of its length. It was very stable and sturdy, and I felt very safe even at the top. I weigh 210 pounds (40 pounds below the ladder's max rating), and I felt very comfortable using it. One of the ladder's best features is storage. Fully "compressed", the ladder is less than four feet tall, and it easily fits into a very small space. The ladder's weight is relatively heavy, and it might be a bit difficult for smaller people to handle.

This is my 3rd telescoping ladder. It is the longest I have owned and feels the safest. The telescoping feature takes some breaking in and getting use to. I pinched my hand at least two times on this sucker but I learned my lesson. The best way to put it down is to take one hand and grab the rung two steps up from where you're retracting. It takes some getting use to. I recommend when you first buy it extend it all the way 5 or 6 times and get the parts moving. As with all telescoping ladders it can be difficult to extend and retract and temperature effects this also. This is the best way for me to get 24 mpg and run my roofing company. It saves a ton of gas money and keeps my truck parked most of the time. This is a good professional grade ladder and customers are always impressed with how cool I am with it. And let me tell you something ladies... being cool makes guys feel good so it's well worth the investment.
