I had one of these stools handed down to me from a relative years ago and have been looking for a replacement for a long time. when I found it on Amazon I was very pleased to see that the same quality and usefulness was still there. I have used the old one for many years and in fact still have it. I am confident we will have the same good luck with this one.

I am very happy with this chair/step stool. It is very sturdy and was easily assembled. The only problem with it is that there is a very small tear in the seat where it meets the frame of the seat. All in all, I would definitely recommend this chair.

This Cosco chair has been part of my kitchen for 50 years - first as a child, and my mom still has hers. Then in my home for at least 20 years. And now I need another one - not because the old one failed but because I have another kitchen. The chair gives a good step stool, is good for at the countertop for writing, paying bills, and the kids love to sit on it doing homework. Am glad to see Cosco still makes it and Amazon carries it for a reasonable price.

I purchased this chair/step stool for the purpose of having a stool in the kitchen with a back on it so we could sit at the counter and work more comfortably. I thought this would be a good one since it could double as a step ladder. It's only good for a step stool as far as I'm concerned since the back is extremely uncomfortable. I've tried putting a pillow behind me and it still isn't comfortable. I feel like I wasted my money because I really needed something with a functional back. If I had to do it over again, I would not purchase this stool.
